1. Identify your printer and surface
Record the printer model, build surface, filament, and selected profile. Use the cleaning and calibration instructions for that combination; different surfaces can need different preparation.
2. Check surface preparation
A dirty print surface can cause adhesion problems. Follow your manufacturer’s cleaning instructions and avoid touching the print area after cleaning.
3. Follow the model-specific calibration
Calibration procedures vary. Use your printer’s own first-layer guidance instead of copying another printer’s offset. Prusa provides separate instructions for its MINI and i3 models.
4. Keep a troubleshooting log
Photograph the result and note what you changed. Compare one controlled adjustment at a time. If calibration looks correct but adhesion is poor, investigate surface preparation and print settings.
